Here's the gilded version of the Brickhill pond - complete with frogspawn. Or, to be more precise, including 352 Pebeo studio acrylics high viscosity iridescent gold. I decided to leave some of the underlying pink and yellow, but I'm not sure. The whole thing is a bit experimental. The cars and some of the reeds seemed the whitest, while the white house turned out to be a kind of mauve. I have been framing for my April exhibition, but still have a few unframed canvases to prepare. Today I began a spring sketch of the town centre from the far side of the river. Tomorrow, I'm off to Tate Modern for a family reunion - while we still can. |
