This afternoon in Newnham Street. The shadow of Santaniello's pizzeria slid across the Castle pub. The sky was striped just like the paintwork. In the distance you can see the white wall of The Three Cups. I probably could have done without the GCH fishmonger's van, but at least it lends scale. I certainly could have done without being bombarded with litter. Sadly, some young wags thought it a good idea to chuck their curry sauce sachet at me as they drove past. Splatted. Hm. Fortunately I have been commissioned to do a painting of the pizzeria. So, I'll be back. |
