I did a little more work on the rowers today - the water, the oars, the rowers' skin.
Then I worked from a photograph and earlier watercolour in order to sketch an acrylic painting of the Butterfly Bridge - opened, I believe, in 1997 by the man who is now king. Between the trees, you can just see the white bridge's wing-arch and wires. I want to shift the colours, shapes and perspective, but I was tentative after 10 days of wrapping and delivering paintings, and not actually painting. That and feeling woozy after my Covid and flu jabs.
