Here's a man pacing back and forth across the concrete while on his mobile. Fenced in. Locked down. For obvious reasons, much of what's visible on site is brightly coloured - the protective clothing, the machines, the pipes and wires. And it's mainly hard painted metal and plastic. None of it is vegetable. So here's an attempt to soften things - reclaim a bit of nature - by painting in beetroot juice and turmeric paste. And it's partly brought on by lockdown shortages. I'd like to add green from nettles, black from charcoal, and blue from red cabbage. Apparently. |
