What looks like an ice-rink with red pipework is, in fact, the top side of a suspended ceiling above the loading bay.
I am standing on solid flooring about 30 feet above the warehouse floor. To the right you can see the yellow shelving which rises 50 feet from floor to the roof. The air is thick with cables which hold up the ceiling, with its ventilation units which preserve a low temperature for goods arriving in the loading bay beneath.
What fascinated me was how the cathedral-sized space was subdivided by the wires and pillars into slats of light and darkness.
