Today was partly spent in constructing a rack in the garage to store my exhibition paintings. The versatility of old pallets, enhanced by skip-findings, is amazing. Afterwards, I went down to the river where the ground was covered in beech leaves - shed by the trees in order to survive the drought. The swans and geese seem desperate too, brazenly approaching humans for bread. |
