It was always going to be a big ask - the complexity of the sage bush with its little purple flowers and their spiky remains. There was some tough weed growing on the right-hand-side (indicated in outline only), and on the left a small round box shrub (the blank blob on the left), with the choisya bush beyond with its long thin leaves radiating in clusters. But then great drops of rain fell on the paper and I decided to call it a day. One Teams meeting, weeding, laying gravel and a trip to the pharmacy was enough - even before a glass of wine. |
