I am pleased to have just sold these two paintings and raised another £100 for charity - (£125 with gift aid). Many thanks to my friends - Mary and Richard! You can read more about the paintings here: Ravilious inspired - Wilmington without the giant - and allotment shed under a stormy sky.
Today I spoke with managers at the McLaren construction site. The earliest completion date will be May 22nd. At the launch, I hope to exhibit paintings from my construction site series. One has been reserved already. Views of the site from Cleat hill are particularly 'historic' because, a few days ago, the land was cleared for a new housing estate. Those teasels and trees are now gone forever.
I do not sell my artwork for profit. Instead, I ask people to donate £50-£100 to the King's Arms Project - so that we can help people less fortunate than ourselves. When donations have been received, I arrange with each donor how best to deliver the painting. Usually this will be framed, and usually this will be free. Anyone wishing to buy any painting or drawing on the same arrangement, please do contact me.
